The TOR Foundation was founded in the heart of Cameroon, driven by a deep-seated desire to uplift the youth and underprivileged individuals facing significant challenges within our communities. Our founder, rooted in his Cameroonian heritage, inspired to take action after witnessing the hardships endured by the nation’s most vulnerable populations, particularly as a result of factors in the society.
This journey began during a community gathering in a small village in south west region Folepi. As friends shared their personal experiences and discussed the dreams and aspirations of the young people around them, they couldn't overlook the harsh realities many faced—loss of loved ones, unemployment, insufficient access to education, and limited resources. It was in that moment of compassion and unity that the vision for the TOR Foundation was born.
Guided by the powerful message found in Isaiah 61:1-6, which calls us to bring good news to the poor and to heal the brokenhearted, our founders felt compelled to create a nonprofit organization that specifically addresses the challenges faced by Cameroonian youth and underprivileged individuals in distress. This scripture resonates deeply with our mission to restore dignity and hope to those affected by this tragedy and to foster meaningful relationships within our communities.
Starting with grassroots initiatives, the TOR Foundation organized local events that provided food, educational materials, workshops, and skills training to those in need. Each interaction inspired us to expand our reach, as we witnessed firsthand how support could ignite change and empower those we serve.
Our Mission

Tor Foundation Inc. is on a mission to restore dignity, uplift youth, and create a sustainable future for underprivileged individuals and families in Cameroon and across Africa. We do this by:
Providing educational sponsorships to children in need.
Covering hospital bills and emergency medical care.
Delivering nutritious food support to vulnerable families.
Offering vocational and skills development training for long-term self-reliance.
Engaging parents and communities to ensure collective growth.

Educational Sponsorship, Skill Development & Vocational Training
Empowering youth to break the cycle of poverty, our sponsorship ensures they receive tuition, school supplies, uniforms, and guidance to thrive in the classroom. Through personalized mentorship, sponsored students gain confidence, complete more years of schooling, and often become trailblazers in their communities.
Meeting the demands of tomorrow’s workforce, we offer training in trades like tailoring, agro‑processing, carpentry, plumbing, and small‑business skills.
